The Ain Department and Bresse area are well known for their beautiful countryside, their art of living and its inhabitants, but mainly for their gastronomy. Come and taste the Bresse chicken, the frog legs and other specialties, all accompanied by a very good wine like the Pouilly-Fuisse, the Saint Veran, Beaujolais or Macon-Villages (with moderation, of course).

In the vicinity of Dommartin, you can also play golf (10 min from Dommartin) and go horseback riding. You can visit the beautiful town of Macon, its quays along the Saone river, the mythical Solutré roc. The region has plenty of historical and culturals sites to discover.
